The number of people being affected is rising day by day. This worldwide virus has also put a lot of stress on small businesses especially the consumer electronic industry. China is the number one country for manufacturing consumer goods as well as consumer electronics. Many retail companies rely on China’s goods to run businesses, not only in the US but all around the world. Due to the virus, many large factories have shut down operations completely, and shipments are being delayed due to heavy border control. Prices gotten higher for goods because everything businesses need are in high demand, and those demands are not being met.

Service based businesses such as computer repair, phone repair, or car repair places are experiencing shortage of parts, and waiting two weeks for something to come in. They are also having to raise their prices, because the cost of parts has gone up. Vendors all across the world are letting businesses know to stock up as much as possible while supply lasts. If China does not recover from this many small businesses will not operate as usual or may have to shut down entirely.
For consumers, always call the business to inquire to make sure they have what you need, if you need anything repaired do it as soon as possible. Many businesses will have to turn down customers due to the fact they cannot fulfill it.
